Responsibility at the Finnish Glass Museum

We have started developing sustainable tourism practices as part of the Sustainable Travel Finland programme

The Finnish Glass Museum has joined Visit Finland’s Sustainable Travel Finland (STF) programme to begin developing sustainable tourism practices. The STF programme helps tourism operators plan, measure, and develop their sustainability efforts in a structured and long-term way.

Participation in the STF programme means that we are committed to assessing and improving our operations from the perspective of environmental responsibility. This is a long-term development process through which we will strengthen responsible practices step by step.

Our development work includes, among other things:

• Evaluating current practices and identifying areas for development

• Strengthening the expertise of our staff

• Monitoring and reducing environmental impacts

• Cooperating with other actors in the field to promote responsible tourism
