The Finnish Glass Museum's library is the country's most comprehensive specialty library in the field. The library's holdings include e.g. Finnish and international publications, small press and independent prints, and magazines on the glass industry, glass technology, glass art, old glass, and industrial art. The total number of items is currently about 10,000.

New literature related to glass is acquired for the library every year, both from Finland and abroad. Research on the history of glass and international contemporary glass is a key procurement target. The library's collection is also supplemented via item exchanges with other museums and donations. The library also subscribes to Finnish and international periodicals on glass, the art industry and the museum industry. The library also has clippings of glass industry news and articles collected from local newspapers.
