The collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum.

The Victoria and Albert Museum has collected Scandinavian ceramics and glass throughout this century. The major groupings were acquired in the 1930s, particulary from Denmark. In the 1950s and 1960s acquistions were largely made from Finland and Sweden. Over the last five years the museum has identified gaps in its collection of Scandinavian work and has been able to fill many of them, as well as adding a considerable selection of contemporary work from these three countries. It has also added a significant group from Norway. This catalogue documents the entire collection.
